Artist's Statement
I have been a Massage Therapist and Healer for 20 years.
My artistic passion awakened while painting with my young daughter.
My first paint supplies were a gift from my husband.
I had no idea what to do with tube paints and almost returned them.
Instead, I took a watercolor class and my life changed forever.
I discovered a passion for painting that I had no idea existed.
Healing and massage were wonderful but the burning passion to paint took over.
The transition from healing arts to fine arts accelerated.
Nature landscapes are what I love. Animals, people and buildings are fun too.
My paintings have been shown all over Connecticut, and my note cards are selling in three states.
I’ve been in many group, juried, and solo shows. I am now teaching what I have loved learning.
I have discovered what I want to be when I grow up!
Thanks for sharing in this wonderful exploration of my painted path.
